1. When do we store your personal data?
Daft records the necessary data for the required period when you:
a) make a reservation at our hotel or use one of our other products or services.
b) requests information (leaflets, brochures, magazines, quotations, newsletter, etc.);
2. Which personal data do we process?
Personal data includes first name, last name, email address, address, telephone, and other information provided to us by the customer / guest, online, by telephone or during check-in at the reception.
After staying at the hotel, we save the information provided by the guest in a profile. Upon return, we can use this information to provide personalized service or make a new reservation. If permission has been given, we also process data from guests / customers in our email database. This database is used for email campaigns and newsletters. Data from existing customers is also processed in this database.
3. Why do we process this personal data?
Daft uses this information for the implementation of the relevant agreement (for example processing a reservation, and communication with the guest / customer about the reservation), for its other services and for sharing information with the customer / guest about products. and services of Daft.
4. How do we ask for your permission?
For (commercial) newsletters and e-mail campaigns, we ask for explicit permission during the booking process, or with another way of registering for newsletters and campaigns. If permission is given for newsletters and e-mail campaigns, the guest accepts that Daft may send personalized campaigns with the data entered by the guest.
Daft reserves the right to send existing customers information about (changes to) our products and services.
If you want insight into exactly what data we have stored about you, or if you do not appreciate information about (new) products and / or services, please send an email to hello@dafthotel.be. We can provide insight into which data we have stored about you and / or, if desired, destroy data stored by us.
You can easily unsubscribe from our mailings & newsletters by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link in the newsletter itself. We will then remove your data from our email database.
5. How do we process general visitor data on our website?
General visitor data – without identifying these visitors – is kept on the websites of Daft, such as the most visited pages. This is mainly done through Google Analytics. The purpose of this is to optimize the website. This data can also be used to put more targeted information on the site. In this way Daft can further improve its services.
6. How do we use cookies?
